Colour pencil on paper, 2004

"And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth." (Revelation 5: 6)

A reference to Revelation 5 where Jesus is portrayed as a Lamb having seven horns (omnipotence) and seven eyes (omniscience).

J'espere que ça te dérangera pas, mais j'aimerais utiliser ce dessin pour ma lesson d'école du dimanche! Je parle de l'apocalypse et c'est pas évident de trouver des images qui ont rapport!

I remember when I first heard that passage in church, I had a hard time visualizing it. Now it seems easier. I still can't picture the room on a sea of crystal with God sitting on a throne surrounded be an emerald rainbow and all that other amazing stuff^_^;
